I have read literally hundreds of online stories; some are single offerings some are multiple stories by a few prolific authors. Many of these people write because simply they like to write for their own pleasure, or the pleasure of others. They all have lives that vary from person to person. Work, school, college, even families to look after, yet they still make time to sit down and write stories! That’s either a serious hobby or a passion and all will tell you it takes time to write a good story. For as many authors whose stories are posted online, there are probably just as many others who never post or can't get their stories read. My reason for writing and posting is to give something back for the pleasure I have derived from reading the work of others.
Please excuse me if I don't add an; 'About me'. The only attribute I will give 'about me' I don't class myself as an author, but a writer. Something that is very close to my heart, children getting a better deal. While there are many children looked after in happy loving homes, there are as many that aren't.
This is a pet project. I hope people will sit up and take notice. Wherever on this planet you live there are mistreated and abused children. I hope therefore that for whatever reason you strayed on to this site, if you suspect a child is the subject of mistreatment or abuse you will report it. Don't let another child become a statistic. I am a small cog in a big wheel, but as they say, big things come in small packages.
